Earlier this week NYHC hosted the first of the RLN Summer Seminar Series with a panel discussion, moderated by Rachel Fee, with city housing leadership on Mayor Eric Adams’s new housing plan, Housing Our Neighbors: A Blueprint for Housing and Homelessness.

At the panel, we heard more about the housing plan including how it will address affordability levels, more about the strategies to address homelessness with housing, the agency’s staffing shortage, and how to make affordable housing more efficient and less burdensome for clients.

We want to thank the panelists – Chief Housing Officer Jessica Katz, HPD Commissioner Adolfo CarriĆ³n, HDC President Eric Enderlin, and DSS Commissioner Gary Jenkins – for joining our panel and sharing more information with the public about the new housing plan.
