New York Housing Conference launched the New York City Housing Tracker on Monday and released a report analyzing the affordable housing production data.

The tracker is a web-based tool tracking important housing statistics and affordable housing production by City Council district. You can find the tracker here.

The report found that the city is not producing enough affordable housing and that production is not shared equitably across the city. In nearly half (25) of the city’s Council Districts, the city produced fewer than 500 new units of affordable housing during the eight years of the de Blasio administration while 23 districts the city produced more than 1,000, with 8,555 affordable homes in the top producing district.
