United for Housing, a coalition of more than 90 organizations led by the New York Housing Conference, sent a memo to Eric Adams with 10 things he should do in the first 100 days to start to address the housing crisis. The recommendations include allocating $4 billion for housing capital and $200 million for rental assistance in the preliminary budget, appointing a deputy mayor for housing and homelessness, preparing for the end of the eviction moratorium and setting early goals to address the crisis.
