New York Housing Conference urges HUD Secretary Carson to move quickly and prioritize areas hardest hit by Coronavirus.

On Friday, NYHC submitted an urgent request to the HUD Secretary, who is responsible for establishing the distribution formula for the allocation of nearly $6 billion in emergency relief funds in the CARES Act.

NYHC was joined by other housing and homeless groups in the letter linked here.

The groups want New York to receive their fair share and underscore the dire needs for emergency housing assistance and other funding to help impacted families and communities.
