President Trump proposes to increase rent for HUD-assisted households from 30% of adjusted income to 35% of gross income with the elimination of deductions, including those for child care and medical expenses. Rents nationally will go up by 32% or $1280 annually on average. We need your help to fight against this cruel proposal to collect $2.3 billion in additional rent, which low-income families cannot afford!
